Sumitomo Rubber USA, LLC. (formerly Goodyear Dunlop Tires North America, Ltd.) manufactures and sells a wide range of automotive tires in the US and internationally. Located in Tonawanda, NY (a suburb of Buffalo) our growing 1,200 employee workforce produces over 2.6 Million tires annually for a variety of applications such as passenger cars, trucks, buses and motorcycles. The transition to Sumitomo Rubber, USA brings exciting new opportunities for the Company’s existing and prospective employees in Western New York. The Tonawanda facility will transition to become US headquarters for all functional areas of the business including Sales & Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, R&D, Operations Management, and more.

This trend is set to continue with the Company’s formal entrance into North America through the former Goodyear Dunlop Tires North America, Ltd. facility, and through planned investments into the Company’s infrastructure, manufacturing processes, and work force.
Summary: Responsible for assigned areas of work which includes, but not restricted to, preparation and analysis of a variety of financial assignments and operating cost information. Works under general supervision and exercises judgment in the application of generally accepted accounting principles and practices. Provides highest levels of customer satisfaction both internal and external.
Compiles and analyzes a variety of operating information and assists in preparing Monthly Operating Report.
Prepares various spending analyses for proposed programs.
Assists in the preparation of various forecasts and estimates.
Prepares analysis to support customer pricing increases/quotes.
Prepares financial profitability analysis by segment, customer, SKU. Performs R&D stage gate financial analysis.
Analyze working capital actuals/projections for GDTNA.
Compiles and prepares data for operating budgets.
Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
BS Accounting or finance, MBA / CPA a plus.
3-5 year experience in financial analysis preparation, knowledge of cost accounting and budgets preferred.
Excellent written & verbal interpersonal communication skills
Strong PC skills including the use of Microsoft Excel & Word software applications, SAP experience a plus.
