Materials Science - Internship

Position Summary:  Internship program in Tire Design-Material Science. Types of activities can include testing of raw material properties in physical test lab, design of experiments, analyzing test results, and other aspects of evaluating new/existing materials for use in tire design.

Reports to: Lead Scientist

Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Chemical engineering or science education (completion of at least sophomore year)
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with various material testing methods
  • Fluency in Japanese desired.
