Position Summary: Responsible for daily inventory and adjustments to components throughout the facility. Includes determining the root cause of inventory discrepancies and issues and solutions to prevent inventory discrepancies. Also responsible for ensuring production areas have work orders available for codes on ticket.
Reports To: Production Control Manager
Essential Functions/Duties:
- Perform Cycle Counts as per work instructions
- Ensure accurate Production Work Orders are available
- Ensure unique components for balance off codes are tagged, scrapped and removed from system
- Ensure FIFO (First in First out) process is followed for component usage
- Audit production entries / confirmations in manufacturing execution systems
- Identify root cause for inventory discrepancies and offer solutions
- Utilizes, understands and maintains computer systems. SAP and manufacturing execution systems (Synchrono, Factory Automation)
- Adhere to standard work documents and offer revisions if required
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- AAS degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, Accounting, or related discipline
- Prior SAP and Inventory experience preferred
- Prior manufacturing experience required
- Proficiency with Excel
- Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
- Ability to coordinate, manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to effectively communicate via Radio Calls and emails
- Detail oriented and excellent follow-up skills
